Gleyber Torres' two run single gives Yankees early lead
The Yankees dropped their fourth straight game on Thursday, falling to the Phillies 4-3 in 10 innings at Citizens Bank Park. The loss drops the Yankees to 6-11 on the season, while the Phillies improve to 9-8.

Domingo German struggles in his return
Domingo German made his first start of the season for the Yankees, and he struggled mightily. German allowed four runs on seven hits in just 3 1/3 innings of work. He walked two batters and struck out four.
The Yankees bullpen was unable to hold the lead in the late innings. Lucas Luetge allowed a two-run homer to Harper in the third inning, and Miguel Castro allowed the game-tying single to Castellanos in the ninth inning.
Nestor Cortes' next start up in the air
Nestor Cortes is scheduled to make his next start on Saturday against the Blue Jays, but Boone said after the game that Cortes is dealing with a groin injury.
Brzykcy optioned to Triple-A
The Yankees optioned right-handed pitcher JP Sears to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, the team announced. Sears, 24, was 0-3 with a 14.73 ERA in 17 1/3 innings pitched over three starts. The Yankees are expected to recall RHP Clarke Schmidt from Triple-A to take Sears' spot in the rotation.
Conclusion: Young doesn't believe shoulder injury is serious
Jameson Taillon left Thursday's game against the Phillies in the second inning with a right shoulder injury. Taillon said after the game that he doesn't believe the injury is serious, but he will undergo an MRI on Friday.
If Taillon is forced to miss any time, it would be a big blow to the Yankees' rotation. Taillon has been one of the team's most consistent starters this season, with a 2.70 ERA in four starts.
