Caitlin Clarke, born Katherine Anne Clarke on May 3, 1952, was an American actress who made her mark in both theater and film. Her most notable role was as Valerian in the 1981 fantasy film "Dragonslayer."

Clarke's career began on the Broadway stage, where she showcased her talent in acclaimed productions such as "Strange Interlude," "Titanic," and "Arms and the Man." Her performances earned her critical praise and a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1979.

Despite her success, Clarke's life took a tragic turn. On September 9, 2004, she passed away at the age of 52 due to natural causes. Her untimely demise cut short a promising career and left a void in the entertainment world.
