Early Life and Career

Born on August 27, 1981, in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Brazil, Maxwell Scherrer Cabelino Andrade, known as Maxwell, began his football career at Cruzeiro. As a left-back, he won multiple national and continental titles with the club.

European Success

Maxwell's talent caught the attention of European clubs, and he joined Ajax in 2001. He spent eight seasons with the Dutch giants, winning four Eredivisie titles and the 2002-03 UEFA Champions League. In 2009, Maxwell made a move to Inter Milan, where he added another Serie A title to his resume. He later joined Barcelona in 2012, winning two La Liga crowns and the 2014-15 Copa del Rey.

Later Career and PSG Role

After retiring from playing in 2017, Maxwell joined Paris Saint-Germain as their Sporting Director. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing player recruitment, contract negotiations, and other aspects of the club's football operations.
