Safety Recall for Advanced Communication System
FCA US LLC Announces Recall for 2022 Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Chrysler 300
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) US LLC has issued a safety recall for certain 2022 Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, and Chrysler 300 vehicles due to a potential issue with the Advanced Communication System (ACS).
According to FCA, the ACS may not properly display incoming text messages, which could distract the driver and increase the risk of a crash. The recall affects vehicles built between December 10, 2021, and January 28, 2022.
Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by FCA and instructed to take their vehicle to an authorized dealer for a free repair. The dealer will update the software on the ACS to fix the issue.
FCA encourages all owners of affected vehicles to contact their local dealer to schedule an appointment for the repair as soon as possible.
